2019 CAMP
When you come to Boys State, expect an intense, action packed experience unlike anything you have participated in before. When you arrive, you will be assigned to both a city and a political party. Your city is a group of forty delegates who live together in for the course of the week. Your city will compete against others in politics, athletics, and other competitions in an attempt win the award of “Best City” at the end of the week.
BOYS STATE
Boys State is the premiere leadership program for rising high school seniors in Mississippi. Delegates are challenged to not just learn about Government, Leadership, and Service; but to put their knowledge into practice.
Along the way, Delegates hear from elected state leaders, prepare for college, and make friendships that will last a lifetime.
